Stretch recovery is when a fabric goes back to it's original size or shape after stretching. You can use a 100% merino rib knit or jersey knit for tight fitting leggings but for better stretch recovery use a merino with a little lycra like Lincoln black or Belgrave black. Even with 3-4% lycra or spandex, the fabric will keep it's shape better and on fitted styles will not "bag".
