Colour: Frosty Mint- very pale green shade
Composition: 57% merino 34% tencil 15% nylon.
Fabric type: Merino and tencil mixed with some nylon added to stabilize the fabric as it has the small eyelets in it. The nylon is the white lines you see on the back of the fabric and that stops the eyelet holes from "laddering". You can see when the fabric is held up to the light that there are very small pinholes for airflow. The eyelet pinholes are good for summer tops as the eyelet pinholes provide ventilation. Often used in sportswear in side panels or sleeves for ventilation and cooling.
Tencil or tencel (spelling depends on where in the world you are) is a fibre made from sustainably-produced eucalyptus. Tencel is capable of wicking sweat three times fast than merino alone, so when combined its a soft silky fabric for activewear, while staying dry and comfortable in the heat of summer. The combination of merino and tencel will keep wearers cool, dry and comfortable on even the hottest days of summer. It also makes the fabric more durable and softer. It will also dry quicker than a 100% merino so this blend is perfect for travel.
