Colour: Daring Blue - the photo showing the wrong side of the fabric is a little lighter than the actual colour. Other photos are closer to actual colour which is a royal blue shade.
Fabric type: Merino eyelet jersey knit. This type of fabric is often used by large well known clothing manufacturers in side panels and sleeves as the small eyelets allow cooling with the air able to flow through the small eyelets. You can also use this fabric as is to make baselayers, singlet, underwear etc.
Composition : 51% merino 34% tencel 15% nylon. Tencel is a natural fibre sourced from sustainably produced eucalyptus, so a merino tencel combination brings together two natural, low environmental impact fibres. The high natural moisture content of Tencel keeps you cool in the heat yet remains dry to the touch and is 60-70% cooler than Merino wool alone, as well as having exceptional wicking abilities (50% more moisture absorbed than cotton and dries twice as fast as polyester). The Merino wool component resists odour, breathes, and regulates temperature when it turns cooler. This fabric is also Corespun meaning the fibres are wrapped around a super-fine nylon core for enhanced strength and durability.
